Always Stumbling?

Let your eyes look forward; fix your gaze straight ahead. Carefully consider the path for your feet, and all your ways will be established. – Proverbs 4:25-26

How successful are you at maintaining your focus? Some are better at short-term efforts with few variables that demand intense concentration, while others prefer long-term aspirations with multiple pathways that allow for more freedom and maneuverability.  We are all susceptible to distractions, but it seems that whether “short or long-term,” spiritual goals are often the most difficult to reach.

Our Creator, in His wisdom, has simply wired us all a little differently, yet expects the same commitment to a common aim … an obedience that gives Him the ultimate glory.
So, no matter your “bent,” this journey demands your careful attention. Our walk with Christ truly matters and we must watch our steps.

While all paths for the devoted follower will surely lead to Christ, it is not necessary to be always stumbling.

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence. – Henry David Thoreau
