“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land. In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely; and this is His name by which He will be called, ‘The Lord our righteousness.’” – Jeremiah 23:5-6
Who is Jesus (the Messiah) to you?
To many people around the world, Jesus is just a good prophet. To others, He is one of many paths to truth. Unfortunately, to many people in the United States, He is a word of surprise or exclamation. Yet, the most important question that must truly be answered when it comes to Jesus’ identity is this one:
“Is He your Savior?”
You see, in order for Jesus to be your Savior, He must be more than a word or prophet, He must be your righteousness. Jesus cannot save you unless He replaces you. You must lose your life in order to gain His.
Oh, but what a life it is!
Let God have your life; He can do more with it than you can. – Dwight L. Moody
