Let us rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and His bride has made herself ready. It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. – Revelation 19:7-8
Have you ever had special guests come to your home for dinner? If so, you probably got out the “good stuff,” the best dinnerware and flatware (everything matched) that you possess. You even made sure that the food was top notch and did everything else possible to be certain that the evening went well.
Are you ready to meet Jesus? Are you truly prepared to meet Him face-to-face? Is He getting the best you have or is He just expected to “make do” with your leftovers? When He returns, will His coming be expected, or will it be more like a surprise “drop-in?”
People, get ready. We’re closer to His arrival now than we have ever been before.
