He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” – Ezekiel 37:3
Are you discouraged? Are things not exactly progressing as you had hoped? At times, it may seem that no matter what we may attempt to accomplish for the Kingdom, failure (or, at least, trial) is the order of the day. In periods of tribulation, we just don’t know what to do beyond all that we have already done.
What else is there? What answers remain? Is there a positive way forward?
Just remember this, God brought you to this place (whatever this place is) and His purposes will always prevail. Pray and patiently wait to see what He can and will do to accomplish them. If you sense there might be a problem with “alignment,” then correct your course. Make the adjustment. Trust the “map” (God’s Word) and the “compass” (the Holy Spirit). Often, the best way to battle discouragement is to be reminded of His presence and promises.
Can these “bones” live? Yes, they can.
How we have prayed for a revival. We did not care whether it was old-fashioned or not. What we asked for was that it should be such that would cleanse and revive His children and set them on fire to win others. – Mary Booth
